Each one of our Shorkie puppies comes with the following:

When your new puppy goes home, they come well-prepared for a healthy start in life. Each puppy receives a Wellness Check (this includes a fecal test) by our local veterinarian, essential dewormings and vaccinations, including the Bordetella vaccine for protection against kennel cough, Neopar to guard against parvovirus, and Neovac for canine distemper. At 9 weeks, they also receive a 5-way vaccine, offering broad protection against distemper, adenovirus type 1 and 2, parainfluenza, and parvovirus. Additionally, your puppy will have been treated with Revolution, which aids in the prevention of heartworms, fleas, dog ticks, ear mites, lice, and sarcoptic mange. These measures ensure that your new furry friend is safeguarded and ready to thrive in their new home.

The Shorkie, a delightful cross between a Shih Tzu and a Yorkshire Terrier, is a small, affectionate companion known for its lively personality and devotion to its family. Typically weighing between 3 to 10 pounds when fully grown, the Shorkie is the perfect size for both apartment living and families on the go. Its coat is long, silky, and requires regular brushing several times a week to prevent tangles and mats, along with occasional professional grooming to keep it looking its best. Thanks to its low-shedding coat, the Shorkie is often considered a good option for those with mild allergies, though no dog is completely hypoallergenic. With proper care, the Shorkie offers both beauty and a big-hearted spirit in a petite package.
